I've just been to Metro Tabernacle Church in Taman Melati last Sunday for my trip to KL and there were some pretty interesting insights the pastor spoke of:-
Firstly that with more facilities in a church, for example more comforting facilities and features, there is more responsibility, would there be discipline among the congregation?
The church isn't a hotel to begin with...
...likewise it applies in our daily life, are we too comfortable with where we are at that when something was out of the way, when something is out of our routine, when difficulties appear less appealing and familiar to our daily life, when out of inconvenience we choose to ignore, who's to blame but our own for being short in sight?
I found this verse to be understandably applicable (wasn't part of the verses the sermon had but it somehow relates)
Proverbs 6:9
How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?
Proverbs 6:8-10 (in Context) Proverbs 6 (Whole Chapter)
