CF Cycling Excursion

Experiences comes from a person going through or having done something. Reading stories from a book however can only provide you with the imagination of how it would be or could be. Without actually going through an adventure personally, there is no first hand experience.

Proverbs 6:9
How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep?Proverbs 6:8-10 (in Context) Proverbs 6 (Whole Chapter)

It is then with great excitement and enthusiasm to inform that there will be a cycling excursion organized by fellows of the Christian Fellowship group, details are as follow.

Kindly inform anyone in the Christian Fellowship group or contact Amos.P from GCC at +60169601724 or simply drop a message at the chatbox.

Please do inform us so we'll know who is and who isn't coming so we won't leave anyone behind, time to meet is at 0500 hour, please allocate your time to travel; for instance if you're staying around Kubang Buaya area, it should take you approximately 10 minutes given that you take the main roads ;)

This excursion is open to anyone who wishes to flex their muscles or sport their cool bike or catch the sunrise or just join for breakfast XD (fundings for breakfast is not included in the package)

Venue to meet : area of Kuantan Baptist Church (KBC)
Date : 19th of July `08
Time : 0500 hour

If you've any questions on how the excursion is gonna be like, do vocalize your questions so we'll know what to answer you :)

CCOP

Wondering why is it CCOP? It's no spelling error I tell you. Today it has evolved...from what was known to be Circle Of Prayse, it's now Cyber Circle Of Play(only for today lah)...

The discussion was for about half an hour, with so much intensity in its ideas and performance. From one point to another, they talked on and on and eventually their passion grew! Mere words can no longer describe it anymore any better than actually engaging it firsthand, and that's what these lads did...

Walking from their actual destination, crossing paths with metal boxes zooming by speedily, the sun scorched their heads with intense heat till they found shade from high rise buildings. After prevailing these challenges, they arrived at their new destination.

There the Lion and his mate wasn't much of a match against the chaotic knight and its sidekick goblin apparently, boy were they tricky...so they tread on further with a tiny scratch of hope to invoke the chaotic knight and the Prophet and yet still failed. They had 3 trips around the area today and the last was unimaginable. It was a butchering experience being owned by the likes of Zeus and a phantom...even venom wasn't enough to put them both down. So they had to traverse to a different section where they were to just deny any passing creeps in a defensive bid...

hmmmmm....perhaps some of you may be blur about what this CCOP is about, well just click here to find out more.

It ended with a cendol outbreak and it was satisfying, at least it bonded some relation in the process...sigh~ it shouldn't have evolved into CCOP in the first place lah if there was enough quorum~~

K.E.M.P. Application Form

This is the application form for K.E.M.P. `07

Forms available from the names as shown below:-
Questions can be directed to the names as shown below:-
Hand in the forms only to these selected few youths;
They are Gary Choi, Joshua Chin, Yong Ling, Phoebe Tan, David.R, Abelene Phua, Philip Pak, and Clement Cheam

A synopsis for the KEMP in my point of view:-

After weeks of constant meeting ups with one another (of course not only limited to the names mentioned above) and the multiple planning and coordinating with each other with every specific detail breakdown to atom-like details; rehearsed and fool proofing its programs repeatedly to avoid unplanned impromptu mishaps or should I put it as accidents, estimating to presumptions of the possibilities and working around with every probability, the K.E.M.P. is now fully prepared for publication after secretarial work is completed for approvals and all sort of paperwork. Details for the programs will be available for readers' preview as soon as I get my hands on them. In addition, the K.E.M.P.'s objective is aimed at ones' personal life, specifically their spiritual life; how one would most likely and or presumably should live in accordance to the bibles' teachings: this K.E.M.P. targets that sector of a persons' life (not intentionally wanting to breach into ones' privacy in life) but moreover to guide them with knowledge and wisdom with Basic Information Before Leaving Earth. There will be Word sessions to feed not only on the physical portion of vitamins but also the manna live and directly from invited speakers who are actually busy but purposely sparing the time for this K.E.M.P. And having Word sessions, there is also hours of quiet times for participants to do, with guidance of course for the less inclined. With so much to accomplish, the programs aren't packed to the brim from dawn to dusk leaving participants with no time to breathe, the programs have been preplanned and they will be in forms of games, games which none of you would have played before during Higher Ground's monthly sessions solely because the games prepared for this K.E.M.P. is a product of heads brainstorming and perfecting it to its best can be with a strict objective to abide with.

And that is 'my' synopsis about the upcoming K.E.M.P.

K.E.M.P.

Basically...
KEMP stands for
Kuantan.Equip.Mass.Project.

It will be held on the 27th - 29th of December `07
at Taman Pertanian after they voted to vote out Sg.Lembing
yada yada yada ...long journey around the world...yada yada yada
The KEMP will be in Taman Pertanian in conjunction with the proposed Committee Retreat.

The objective of the KEMP is to bridge the gap between the older ones and the younger ones, in retrospect; imparting and sharing knowledge, in spiritual aspect; teaching and guiding one to spiritual maturity and not to mention to breach a revolution to the characteristically stagnants..

There will be games, and more games, and much more games
by saying "GAMES", does not and will not conclude as 'wasting time games' as this KEMP is a product of many heads coming together.

Why should a person participate in this KEMP?

First and foremost; how often do you get to see and attend or even experience a camp organized by former HG committee/members?

Secondly; this is a gift because not always do you get such an opportunity

(sounds like it's still worth skipping?)

then thirdly; the games are fun to play along, provided you are actually playing, and being games, they're not entirely pointless

fourthly; we promise you that this KEMP would be meaningful in terms of learning experience and bonding relation

fifthly; the cost is economically priced at RM35 per person

sixthly; everything included, your breakfast brunch lunch tea dinner supper ...

seven; i've given you 6 logical reasons and you still am reading for more? Greed is one of the deadly 7 sins as stated in proverbs yo~ so be thankful i've given you reasons already lol...

this is just a rough overview of KEMP, later i will post a more(a little bit) concise explanation of the camp along with the application form, but as for now..these details should be sufficient to feed your curiosity while i hunt for resources regarding the KEMP.

The Gathering of The CF

The Christian (School) Fellowship consisting CF's from schools such as SABS, SMAP, SMAA, and SMPM together with Higher Ground committees are going to hold a CF Gathering.

The gathering is free, venue shall be at Telok Chempedak (TC1) beach at 6.45am Malaysian timezone, but there are some details to be infill by participating individuals. The date of the gathering is on the 13th of October `07.

Food and drinks will be catered exactly to how many people are attending, therefore the reason details to be unfilled.

The purpose of the gathering is to unite the school CF's together, being united doesn't mean having only one CF but getting to know one another, building bonds strengthening ties and be exposed to know about Higher Ground's existence and function.

There will be a short/brief ice breaker as the committees organizing this gathering realizes that the community, they're shy in character ^^

For further details look for Amos.P(SABS) or Kelven.C(SMAP) or LiAnn (SMAA) or Victoria.C(SMPM)

Series of Ownage

And so it began, with just a string and a bunch of people who has nothing better to do than to hold on to the string and tries to out"pull" one another in a series of what we all know now as "The Art of Tug-of-War"...pfft, here's a perspective view to the not so extreme game...but like you, i cannot predict what extremist would do to really make extreme game a reality, no fiction mumbo-jumbo, mind you
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

and boy...they sure are an impatient lot, just look at them pulling as if trying to bring down a mammoth on each other..Image Hosted by ImageShack.usImage Hosted by ImageShack.us
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
who says this game of pulling strings together is so tough? all I need to do is just secure the "string" around my waist and sit down real comfortable on the morning-cold sand and they won't be able to even pull us any closer~...contrary to the opposing team who had to stretch their veins just to end up looking half dead like this:Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Ok ok...so one match wasn't enough to break the tie who's the winner...so the leaders went to set the rules...Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
guess they brought their scrolls of terms and conditions to sign on just in case anything bad happens, or any deaths occur...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Lacking in manpower? hmm....seems so relevant i can relate this to part of life

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Call it surrender!!! muahahahahahaha~!~!~!~!

Just look at the amount of water "plastics" they made to throw at each other... lolz
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
....So i don't have a clue what happen in between time but somehow i think they are burying their comrades after a watery fight... oh well, they signed the scrolls~

Talk about extremity, i guess it's because of too much gaming...from liquid to solid!

Quick Shirley, RUN!!! i mean..SWIMMMM!!

WAHAHAHAHAHAHA, this is the best among `em all~ (editor)

while i was enjoying all the ruckus and scuffle with sand flying sky-high onto players and relaxing my mind, trying to think what should i blog...they had to literally give me the idea~ how innocent was i...sigh` (click on picture to view ownage video)

Now that most are soaked, what else? be hooligans...lolz, but do notice at what they are trying to do

It requires brute strength, force, energy, power, muscle but without UNITY, not one of them can shift a log 5 times their weight..~ gee, such wise words lolz

Well...the moral of the pictures is: it doesn't matter who wins or loose, because everybody got OWNED!

These were the pictures and videos taken during one of the picnic at Teluk Chempedak by a number of the HG members, and dubbed it "Transporting Water: 02"

Thanks to all the unwilling models, your unwillingness is my pleasure

A Hike Up A Hill

Waking up as early as 3am, some not even bothered to take a peek at that tempting slumber; these few people, decided to gather and travel for miles, and for hours to reach their destination...their goal...their aim...their target...their (ok I guess you get my point ^^)

"Bwahahahahahaha!"

"I reach the top dy la~!!!"

[sinister laugh continues while Michael (left) and Kelvin (right) giggles and joins in the excitement]

After squatting here and there out of tiredness, jumping for joy around the top of the hill, drinking water like a fish out of thirstiness, throwing stones like an aborigine trying to beat the others, chitter-chatter in amazement of the beautiful scenery...some decided to pose

J says, ".........."

AA tells, "Eh, come arh...let's go and shout to the hills and see whether who's voice echoes back the loudest! I know mine sure loudest."

V spectacled thinking, "what is AA talking about ah..?"

A
in deep thoughts, "So sien wan, come up here oso sien wan, got what to see? only mountain hills and trees...so sien wan, when are they gonna start going back down?"

M
mums, "hearh...?!?!"

Y
thinking, "Is this guy for real? Someone tell me he's gotta be joking."

ABC
busy chitter-chatter like selling fish in a market.

"Come all smile to the camera! hehehe.."
from left, Michael, A-ron.P, Jeshua, Vincent, Kelvin, Sean, Edwin, and Ah Yao

after their hike up the mountain, they went down the and have their SUPER CHEAP breakfast, RM2.50 for one BIG BOWL of curry mee...man, you can't find that cheap of a meal anywhere! Lembing mee, a special mee only found in Sungai Lembing, is a delicacy, it's not as hazardous as those normal mee the mamak feller fries in your local mamak stall, you just gotta try it to believe it...the mee is not sticky to the teeth, and they are much tastier too compared to the norms

they had a sumptuous brunch, a real filler and one can predict that with such an appetizing brunch, their bellies must be bloated...they had to crawl back to Kelvin's place to rest before heading back home Kuantan. They were all too tired to move around, too tired that I guess it was obvious for this guy here to even bother sleeping in the right alignment. (guess he's being innovative to come up with another way/pose to sleep)

We hiked up Sg. Lembing panoramic hill somewhere in 2006 and this is the picture of us who made it to the top including the camerawoman, Tiff...and some others behind the camera
