The Seminar Speaker: Brother Jason Fong (from Scripture Union)
A graduate in Architecture (Diploma) from University Technology Malaysia, Jason Fong had worked in JKR for more than 8 years before going into full-time Christian ministry.
Jason Fong joined Scripture Union since 1994 and was involved in reaching children, youths and their families with God’s Word. He was a field staff in the Youth Ministry before being appointed to head the Camping Ministry and was later appointed the General Secretary in January 2004. He is also currently the Coordinator for SU Youth Ministry in the East Asia region.
Jason Fong is glad that God has used him to serve the larger Body of Christ through the ministries of SU. He is very passionate about teaching and preaching the Word of God, enthusing Christians to love, read and obey the Scriptures. Jason speaks very frequently in churches of various denominations (AOG, Anglican, Baptist, Brethren, EFC, FGA, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian as well as independent churches) in their Worship Services, Evangelistic Meetings, Training Seminars, Youth Services and Family Camps. He is also currently doing some part-time theological studies, pursuing a Masters in Ministry from Malaysia Bible Seminary, Klang.
Jason and his wife, Sharon are blessed with 2 daughters – Sarah and Hannah. Currently they reside in Petaling Jaya, and attend the Metro Tabernacle AOG (Assemblies of God) in Kuala Lumpur.






A 3-Hour BIBLE SEMINAR TO HELP YOU APPRECIATE,
READ AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD

1. DEVELOPING A CONSISTENT & MEANINGFUL QT (30 minutes session)

This seminar aims to help Christians to get into the habit of meeting God daily through Bible Reading & Prayer. With an interactive approach, the seminar deals with various issues related to QT and teach the participants seven simple and practical steps to begin doing their QT.

2. KNOW THE BIBLE (90 minutes session)

Gaining a good understanding of the overall structure and layout of the Bible is an important first step to loving, reading and understanding God’s Word. With this, Christians will find reading their Bible more meaningful. This seminar uses an interesting interactive quiz format to do a survey of the OT and NT of the Bible.

3. CSI: PHILEMON (60 minutes session)

This is an interactive seminar to excite and equip participants to examine God's Word like a detective (or Crime Scene Investigator). The participants will not only study the book of Philemon, but also acquire skills to do other studies next time... CSI – Christian Scripture Investigation! This is the first module of a series which is being developed where we help Christians dig into God’s Word to discover truths and applications for our lives today. This module on the Epistle of Philemon will focus on people and relationships.
